In the Mirror of Death:

The Art of Dying Well

WCRT8 is getting closer and, as always, EARTh Program Committee prepared a program for you with a profound, insightful and even life-changing theme!

Never before in the history of EARTh Annual Conventions and Congresses has the theme of death and dying received the full attention of being the main and only focus of study during the annual professional conventions and world congresses dedicated to Regression Therapy.

Please see the program with workshops and activities planned for the WCRT8. You can click to download a pdf file of the program.

From 1st of October it is no longer possible to register for WCRT8.

Nijmegen, the oldest city of The Netherlands

The Romans used the name Ulpia Noviomagus Batavorum for the settlement at the river Waal already around 100 AD, making it the oldest city of The Netherlands. During World War II, unfortunately a large part of the inner city was destroyed by mistake, by allied bombings. Yet there are still many old buildings that survived.

These are the options for the historical city walk:

  • Roman city walk: see various Roman remains at Hunnerpark, Valkhofpark and Waalbridge.
  • War and Liberation: stories and remains of World War II in Nijmegen.

Price €40 for a city walk with a guide includes transfer from Castle The Berckt to Nijmegen (09:00 AM) and back (17:00 PM). Not included coffeebreak and lunch.

WCRT8 Partner Program Tour

If your partner comes with you to WCRT8 but doesn’t follow the workshops, he or she can join the Tour on Monday and Wednesday. On Monday, the Partner Tour will visit the Dutch Open Air Museum in Arnhem and on Wednesday, the castle ruins and the Velvet Cave in Valkenburg.

Monday: Dutch Open Air Museum

The Open Air Museum in Arnhem consists of 44 hectares of museum park. The activities in the museum and the artisans bring the historic buildings to life. The people of the museum seem to have walked out of the past. Proud of their heritage, they inspire you with their stories and are curious about yours. You will find about 100 museum buildings, farms and windmills. You can view them from the outside and the inside! In this way, history comes closer and you can relive the past. In the gardens around and between the buildings, you will come across old crops, forgotten vegetables, medicinal plants.
During a visit to the museum you can take a ride on a historic tram. There is also an old town where you can eat poffertjes (small Dutch pancakes), play on old bicycles and visit authentic shops with groceries they used to sell more than 100 years ago.

Wednesday: Castle Ruins and Velvet Cave

Valkenburg is an old town with many caves and a medieval castle ruin. In the Partner Program the Velvet Cave and the castle ruin are included in the price. We will get a guided tour in the Cave of 1 hour, where you will see how they worked there to extract the marlstone, and you will see many mural paintings like the one in the photo. At the end of the cave, we enter the castle ruins, where  there is more to explore than one would think when seeing it from afar. The view from the castle is beautiful.
There are plenty of possibilities to have lunch and a drink and there’s a lot more to explore. If there’s still time left, the van can drive you 6 kms to the American Cemetery in Margraten. Palpable is the feeling of respect, sadness and gratitude. These men gave their lives for our freedom. The entrance is free and afterwards you can say that you have been in the USA, because it’s American ground you’re walking on.

The price is €60 per day and this includes the drive and the entrances. If you are interested in the WCRT8 Partner Program, please send an email to Anna Merkulova; convention@earthassociation.org.
