Description
FACING YOUR ACTIVE FEAR OF DYING:
FREEDOM TO LIVE WELL
This workshop is an exercise of personal spiritual hygiene, intended as a practical, therapeutic tool aimed at overcoming the fear of death and dying that is the root cause of all fears; addressing this topic will have a great impact on improving the quality of living. Improving your awareness is the first step to be free from the fear of death. Are you brave enough to face your active fear/s of dying? How much of what you are feeling is related to your own emotional experience about death and dying and how much is part of your transgenerational ‘inheritance’ being passed over to you unconsciously? The practical explorations the attendees are to experience will become a guiding therapeutic tool for their further working with clients with severe panic attacks, phobias, death anxiety (thanatophobia), hypochondria and any other related fears.
Objectives:
The attendees will get a chance:
• to explore the root causes of their active fear of dying;
• to go back to their first experience of witnessing death or dying as children and to their attending the first funeral;
• to identify and partially work on their unprocessed near death/ increased risk of death events in this life time (with a particular focus on the birth trauma, if any);
• to connect their present fears of dying with unprocessed traumatic deaths in their past lives;
• to make their own family genograms focused on the causes of death of their family members;
• to use the methods in this workshop to further work with clients with severe panic attacks, phobias, death anxiety (thanatophobia), hypochondria and any other related fears.
