Resume

My Background

My name is Paul Hooijdonk. My educational background is in commercial economics, organizational culture, coaching, nonviolent communication, and regression therapy. Since 1994, I have been active in business services. In addition to my work as a regression therapist, I am also actively involved with an international organization in the travel industry. In this role, I regularly work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds — culturally, personally, and professionally.

This combination of experiences helps me better understand and support complex human processes. Moreover, personal challenges in my own life have allowed me to empathize more deeply with the situations my clients face. As a result, I understand much better what someone is going through. These personal experiences make it possible for me to build genuine connections and offer effective guidance.

My Interest in What Drives People

My passion lies in coaching, motivating, and inspiring people. I’m fascinated by what drives them — what motivates or frustrates them, what ignites their passion, or causes them to lose it. I often wondered: how is it that people can react so differently to the same situation? Why does one person remain calm while another reacts emotionally? These questions led me to develop a deeper interest in the subconscious mind.

The Power of the Subconscious

Scientific research shows that as much as 95% of our decisions are made subconsciously. This insight inspired me to explore the subconscious more deeply. I discovered that many problems and symptoms are rooted so deeply that they cannot be resolved through the conscious mind alone. They are anchored in the subconscious — which is also where the key to true change can be found.

Why Regression Therapy?

Regression therapy provides direct access to the subconscious. When I realized how profoundly past experiences can influence our current emotions and behavior, I decided to specialize in this approach. I completed a three-year post-graduate program in regression therapy at the Tasso Institute, led by Hans Ten Dam. As a regression therapist, I continue to be amazed by the effectiveness of this method. The subconscious is not only where the root cause of many problems lies, but also where the solution can be found. I practice this work with deep gratitude, love, and passion.

“As a regression therapist, I am continually amazed by how powerful regression can be — because it allows us to connect with the subconscious. It is within the subconscious that both the deeper cause and the solution to many issues can be found. This understanding is what fills me with gratitude, love, and passion for this work.”
