Resume
Kathy Van Cauwenberge graduated as a Clinical Psychologist from Ghent University, Belgium, in 2000. Throughout her professional career, she has primarily focused on supporting and treating adults with a wide range of psychological and emotional difficulties.
In 2016, she founded her private practice, De Bergbloem, where she provides psychological and trauma-focused therapy for adults. Over the years, trauma and its impact on psychological well-being have become an increasingly important focus within her therapeutic work. She is a Europe-accredited EMDR practitioner and integrates EMDR into her work with adults.
Her interest in exploring the origins of psychological symptoms and unresolved experiences eventually led her to Regression. She completed her training with ATRB (Belgium) and qualified as a Professional in Regression, adding Regression to her existing background in clinical psychology and trauma therapy.
Her work brings together clinical psychology, trauma-focused therapy, EMDR and Regression, with particular attention to understanding how past experiences may continue to influence emotional and psychological functioning in the present.
