WEBINAR Foundations of Life: Integrating Prenatal Resources in Regression Therapy

July 15 @ 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Akke Zijlstra and Minna Sangi

WEBINAR Foundations of Life:
Integrating Prenatal Resources in Regression Therapy

About Akke

Akke Zijlstra is an experienced regression and reincarnation therapist. She first encountered regression therapy in her early twenties, and after her first session, she immediately knew she wanted to become a regression therapist herself. Due to an age limit at the time, she only started her training at Tasso much later, after a career in education as a teacher and career counselor. Today, Akke leads a flourishing practice focused on deep personal transformation, where she guides clients in processing trauma, breaking family patterns, and fostering personal growth.

In addition to a successful practice, Akke is the founder of a training center where she offers a one-year program and various continuing education courses for coaches and (holistic) therapists who wish to integrate regression therapy into their practice. Students can pursue an advanced year focused on pregnancy and birth, and Akke also collaborates with Minna on an advanced program that integrates bodywork with regression therapy.

Akke learned regression therapy at Tasso in the Netherlands. Beyond that, she has attended various further education and training courses, including embryology with Jaap van der Wal, the training for adoula (spiritual birth coache) with Crimson Circle, and ancestorwork with Mark Wolynn.

Akke’s passion for her profession is evident in her dedication to helping others and training therapists within her training center who work with compassion, depth, and professionalism.

About Minna
Minna Sangi, originally from Finland and now based in the Netherlands, brings a wealth of expertise in body-centered counseling, with a particular focus on pregnancy, birth, and early-life experiences. Recently, she completed the regression and reincarnation therapy course at OCTR, and together with Akke, they are now integrating bodywork principles more deeply into regression therapy.

Minna’s extensive background includes specialized training in:
• Thai Yoga Massage Therapy (Shantaya Yoga & Bodywork School, under Karl Straub)
• Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, based on the work of Bessel van der Kolk
• Hatha Yoga, including prenatal yoga (Ananda Yogacentrum in Ellecom)

Minna is also a certified instructor in Thai Yoga Massage, offering both individual sessions and training programs. Additionally, she served as the Chair of Stichting De Geboortenis in Zutphen, a foundation focused on raising awareness around childbirth and promoting a respectful, nurturing start to life.

She offers clients an embodied pathway to healing and transformation, creating a grounded space for connecting with the body’s innate wisdom.

Webinar description

In this engaging webinar, Akke and Minna delve into the therapeutic potential of integrating prenatal resources into regression therapy, offering a pathway to uncover unique healing opportunities for clients. This workshop introduces five core prenatal resources—placenta, umbilical cord, vernix, amniotic fluid, and amniotic membrane—each representing a fundamental life-support function that influences a person’s innate sense of security, resilience, and connection.

This concept draws inspiration from the Balinese tradition, where babies are honored and treated with deep respect. In Bali, the “Four Brothers” refer to life resources that support an unborn child, providing a strong foundation for future well-being. Developed further by Joke Lamers, this approach incorporates a fifth resource, each playing an essential role in the nurturing environment of pregnancy.

Akke and Minna will guide participants through these resources using systemic work, personification, therapeutic drawing, and somatic bodywork techniques.
Each resource embodies essential functions:

• Placenta – Nourishment
• Umbilical cord – Flow
• Vernix – Protection
• Amniotic fluid – Movement
• Amniotic membrane – Boundary and connection

These elements shape foundational blueprints that, when explored in regression, reveal and address deep-seated issues from pre-verbal or early-life imprints.

Interested in new therapeutic insights, rich theory, and hands-on exercises you can bring directly to your practice? Join this workshop to integrate the powerful influence of prenatal resources into your therapeutic approach.
