In this webinar we will be dealing with tensions in the body, energy tensions and psychological tensions in between. The theme is not new – but perhaps there is something to be added, namely the way we fabricate our own tensions in subtle ways when we antagonize places, situations, people, behaviours and portions of ourselves. The way we unnecessarily increase effort. And, of course, the way specific tensions might both come from the past and give us access to it.

About Vitor

Vitor Jose F. Rodrigues, 63 years old, owns PhD in Psychology magna cum laude from the University of Lisbon (2002). He is a Psychologist, Psychotherapist and Writer, has published 16 books on subjects including self-help (such as “Build your own Happiness”), sci-fi (Invasion of the Earthmen”), philosophy (The Book of Ignorance”) or social criticism (“General Theory of Human Stupidity”). He was a previous President of the European Transpersonal Association and has taught Educational and Developmental Psychology at Portuguese universities for 17 years. He also published relevant articles in the field of consciousness studies, namely as main author to the chapter on Transpersonal Psychotherapies in the “The Wiley-Blackwell Handbook of Transpersonal Psychology”. Vitor has conducted hundreds of trainings and lectures pertaining to transpersonal psychology in many countries and he is also a regression therapist since 1996 working with hypnosis, psychic defence, breathing, meditation and other methods for a long time.
