Discovering Regression Therapy: A Love Story
A film by Virginia Rivera Hernandez
On Behalf of Earth Association for Regression Therapy. (EARTh)
January 2016
This film aims to inform and inspire the general public on the benefits of regression therapy, yet is particularly intended for professional and potential therapists interested in discovering more about what it takes to become a regression therapist. It explores the demands and rewards that unfold for both the therapist and the trainee therapist as a natural outcome of working and training in this field. More than that it invites the viewer into the heart of regression therapy to discover the beauty that can be found as people go inside themselves to face their own issues, thus enabling their own potential to heal and live a more authentic life. The film is organized into fifteen different parts of an average six minutes each. Please view each or any part and enjoy. If you want to learn more about the background of the movie click here.

PART 1: WHAT ON EARTh IS REGRESSION THERAPY?
Discovering what Regression Therapy is. “Regression is something that we do at any moment in time. Whenever you speak about something you have a reference to it, and that reference is a regressing… In my opinion regression therapy is important if we need to move forward in life. You need to look back from where you came. What is it that works for you? What is it that doesn’t work for you? And move forward with the strength of what works for you.”
PART 2: THERE ARE LOADS OF THERAPIES OUT THERE. WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT THIS ONE?
Discovering the differences between RT and mainstream or conventional talk therapies. “We employ more techniques in our armament. We have more techniques than the conventional psychotherapists, and we usually utilize altered states of consciousness to locate the origin of the problem of our client. So that’s the definitive difference.”
PART 3: HOW DOES A REGRESSION THERAPIST DIFFER FROM OTHER KINDS OF THERAPISTS?
Discovering the factors that makes Regression Therapists so special. “A true regression therapist has done a lot of their own work, their own healing. We train people, we provide them with tools, with techniques, methods, but it takes more than that. I think that a really good regression therapist has to be pretty fearless and also very sensitive. It’s an unusual combination, fearlessness and sensitivity.”
PART 4: HOW DO WE KNOW THAT IT REALLY WORKS AND TRANSFORMS?
Discovering how Regression Therapy makes a difference in people’s lives. “Because their lives change, the symptoms disappear. So if you come in with a pain, and when you leave you don’t have a pain, something is different.” “That’s the best. More than the payment for the session. It’s seeing the transformation, seeing the realization, seeing the healing take place.”
PART 5: AN ENCOUNTER WITH THE SOUL. TESTIMONIES
Personal testimonies about Regression Therapy. “I was out of body or what we call ‘dead’, that I had a really profound experience of meeting guides and experiencing what most of us hold as an altruistic concept of unconditional love. Being one with all things and yet having some sense of self, and I think in that sense RT really saved my life, and woke me up to the possibilities that existed in this approach.”
PART 6: BECOMING A GOOD REGRESSION THERAPIST
Know more about the EARTh training programs.
“At the moment, speaking of EARTh, there is a variety of schools that are recognized and they work quite differently, but they all do good work, so there is a flavour of the work from different angles.“
PART 7: THE IDEAL STUDENT
The core qualities of a regression therapy student. “They have to be brave, they have to be brave in this sense to be willing to go deep inside and to work through their own problems. This is one of the very most important thing. A good regression therapist has been very deeply into his her own unconscious to be more free, to be more harmonious person”
PART 8: FALLING IN LOVE: STUDYING REGRESSION THERAPY
The beautiful journey of studying Regression Therapy. “I think I found new ways to look at things and I think that’s the best that regression is doing. It is giving you not a new angle but loads of new angles to choose from. That you are the one who is actually choosing the angles rather than the other way around, so that’s the best part anybody can find out.”
PART 9: REGRESSION THERAPY: A TEACHER’S PERSPECTIVE
The beauty of teaching Regression Therapy. “A remarkable experience of being a teacher is that you start let’s say in the first year and somebody looks absentminded, and after three years when they graduate you see the person solidly present and shining, and then you know that something has happened, there is a process that is really, really being lived through.”
PART 10: PAST LIVES : A RESEARCHER’S PERSPECTIVE
A scientific research about children who remember past lives. “I don’t think that we can map these cases on to mainstream materialistic view of the world, I think what they seem to indicate is that consciousness is not limited just to the physical brain but can continue on after the brain dies. I think there are reasons, other reasons, to consider that consciousness should be considered separate from the physical world, that is, a separate entity.”
PART 11: EARTh: THERAPISTS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Regression therapists from all over the world who make a difference. “When a client finds a therapist it is a little bit like a dance. When two people dance together there is a mutual harmony… and if people follow their intuition they will find that.”
PART 12: EARTh: REGRESSION THERAPY GOING GLOBAL
EARTh association going worldwide. “When you go world wide you actually incorporate different cultures into a field so it’s so nice to be multicultural because you have always infiltration of different heritage, of different languages, different art. So by becoming global, by enlarging our body of therapists we are actually enlarging our collective soul.“
PART 13: A GLOBAL MEETING: THE WORLD CONGRESS FOR REGRESSION THERAPY
The biggest meeting to gather and connect Regression Therapy professionals from all over the world. “It’s also a way to learn and to do things with regression that are not so accessible to find in the world, where you can get training and experiences. So I think it provides a very good, what I call container, for that kind of work and for people that keep being nourished by learning these skills.”
PART 14: TRAINING IN ACTION: REGRESSION THERAPY WORKSHOPS
Participating in the workshops. “These students who visit my workshop hopefully will sense that there is experience speaking and the honest wish to come as quick as possible in a series of sessions to the core, for these kind of clients. And when the students and the colleagues who visit my workshops hear what I do, I hope that I can give them something that they haven’t seen yet.”
PART 15: REGRESSION THERAPY: A LOVE STORY
Falling in love:“I think that one of the most rewarding things about working as a therapist in regression therapy is seeing people who had gone to traditional therapy and then they come to me and they start working sessions and they are so amazed at what comes up and there is some kind of process that they’ve never been in before. So I think it’s amazing because it goes so deep, and I really enjoy doing deep work because I found that that’s where the clients really make the changes.”
